Her for things she can’t control like her weight and
Which side of the tracks she lives on.
And though they let their sighs express discontent
For Tamicka and the facts she brought into school, won’t stop her from
Learning all she can.

But she still wishes to be mean like them,
To be accepted amongst friends,
And talk while they listen.

To get them back for the resentment she feels
Maybe some tacks on their chairs
Or bubblegum in their hair, pranks are new to her
So is contempt and revenge.
And even though they caused her to grow inward alone,
Tamicka knows her heart and causing pain ain’t her way
And she knows she’ll be their boss some day.
